Sharing is caring!

Back before the pandemic through all our lives upside down I had started a thrift store challenge with a different theme every month. And now that we are off to a new start and a new year I decided that this challenge needed to be resurrected. This challenge has a different name but the concept is the same. Every month there with be a new theme and the idea is to find something that you may already have or something you pick up at a thrift store, garage sale, or a hand me down. The idea is to create an upcycled home decor item that you can use yourself or gift to a friend.

Here are the monthly themes:

January: Wood

February: Furniture

March: Dishes

April: Fabric

May: Fake Flowers

June: Metal

July: Glass

August: Board Games/Puzzles

September: Books

October: Crafting Supplies

November: Picture Frames

December: Christmas Decor

Now if you are reading this in the middle of 2023 no worries! Feel free to get started on this challenge anytime of the year. I will be sharing a blog post every month with my upcycled home decor piece and I would love for you to share on your social media and tag me @1905farmhouse.
