The holiday season is always a special one, from the decorations, the music, the gifting and the lights that make the season a notable one every year. Some of the best activities during the holiday season are the ones that are traditions every year. One of our favorite traditions is to go look at Christmas lights after our kids’ school Christmas musical program each year. This year I decided to make it more fun activity by creating a Christmas light bingo card. I created five unique cards that each are a little different to make it fun for families with multiple kids or for the whole family to participate. And these cards are completely free for you to use for your personal use. Scroll down to the bottom to find the link to download the different cards.
This Christmas lights bingo game is fun for kids of any age and even older kids. If you want to make this a yearly activity I would recommend laminating each different bingo card so that the kids can use dry-erase markers to mark off the lights they see. To get access to the free download scroll to the bottom of this post to find the link to download.
A quick rundown for this game is that any time you see any type of light display that is on the bingo card you can mark it off, this could be a Christmas blow-up decoration or any type of Christmas decorations in the shape of the picture. And of course there is a free space already included on the card for you.
I think this year for a little extra fun we will have to get some hot cocoa after the Christmas performance and then go look at all the light displays with our own bingo cards. And of course we will crank up the Christmas music as we ride around in the car. This great activity will help you get into the holiday spirit and is also a fun family game night. We will have a prize of some Christmas cookies for the first person who gets a bingo.
Hopefully this Christmas light scavenger hunt will become a fun Christmas activity and a new family tradition for years to come for each Christmas season. Don’t forget to grab your hot chocolate and candy canes for snacks as you drive.

The BINGO looks like fun, but it tells me “access denied”.
